Our History

Established in 2002, Caritas Vocal Ensemble (originally named "Sacred Voice") came together as a response to 9/11. It has always been a part of our mission to spread love and kindness, whether that be through song, human connection, or donation. While our roots formed in performing mainly nonsecular music, Caritas Vocal Ensemble has since branched out and taken pleasure in performing a robust variety of choral genres.

Caritas Vocal Ensemble has seen many faces and voices come and go throughout the years, but at our core, we have remained as steadfast and determined as ever to provide to those in need. To help give a voice to those who've been quieted. To cultivate connections among different communities. To spread awareness and love through song and partnership.
